Default Guide to getting Lunar Tokens EASY!!

What You Will Need

- One friend or guildmate
- 5-?? minutes/hours (depending on how much you want)
- Piles of Glittering Dust
- Patience and maybe Vent/TS

Procedure

Have one person hold the piles of glittering dust and the items you will receive from the reward. The other person will create a new Canthan character and get the Fire in the Sky quest from Coordinator Tahyaa. Party up and leave the town and go into Sunqua Vale. Have the person with the glittering dust trade it to the other person and have them complete the quest. Return to town and collect the reward. Then trade EVERYTHING you get from the reward to the person with the glittering dust. Now the person with the new canthan character will delete him/her and create a new one. Be sure to be fair and split the profits! Do this over as many times as you want!

Rewards

- 2,000 EXP
- 300 Gold
- 25 Lunar Tokens
- 1 Bottle Rocket
- 1 Sparkler
- 1 Champagne Popper

Tips

Trying to get that NEW mini pig? Well if you open a fortune and receive a BAD FORTUNE then immediately leave the area and come back. DO NOT open any more fortunes with the BAD FORTUNE effect on you. It will REDUCE the chance of getting the rare pig pet. Having a GOOD FORTUNE on you will INCREASE the chances of getting the pig pet. Good Luck all!

I can make this run solo, it's cake.

My difference:

Take the reward for the initial profession quest. Do the Partying quest from Ludo to get a Monastery Credit. Trade it for an Adventurer's scroll, use that to open storage and get 10 GD. Now do the Fire quest, stick the 380g in storage along with the 4 reward items. You're done.

Ohhhh, don't try to get piggy with bad fortune.......
Guess that would make more sense; I just plopped down outside Shing Jea and ripped open 149 fortunes 'til I got my piggy. >_<

I solo with the create/delete method but I do both quests from coordinator to maximize profits... takes from 9-10 minutes, and is alot more efficient per 10dust piles... create, do first three primary quests, the run to the village, map back to shint jea, open storage to grab dust, and 5 fireworks, give dust to guy outside town, collect, take next quest, warp to village.. then finish up the second one in a minute, warp back to shing jea and collect..

Cost--
10 minutes and 10 piles of dust

Gain--
830 Gold
50 Lunar Tokens
6 Fireworks

Add all this up, and that means that per hour, you're getting 300 lunar tokens, 4,980 gold, and 36 fireworks going at it solo. I believe that if you had two people doing this solo, instead of two people working together, that you could gain alot more profit.

6 of my 8 characters went and did all 5 shing jea quests that gave tokens (the other 2 were either too low a level and the other one is in prophoces without access to factions yet...) I did most of them solo, even Big bang. But it's a *lot* easier with 2-3 people.

In the end, I made around 60k. Just off of tokens. I could hav e made more if i didnt waste my time with trading some in for fortunes.I might have made around 80k.

My advice: Do it all on more than one character. 15k per char.

lol i do the same thing.
Also if u want to get more fortunes go to lions arch and play rock paper scissors with the lucky guy. What i do is use 2 accounts with 2 clients on one comp. Split the tokens and the time is halved =D. I do one rock and one paper so i always get a fortune making the ratio 2:1 tokens to fortunes. If you can get a guildie into this u can make the ratio 3:2 if u all do different stuff. The time is lowered and u will always get fortunes =D.

I hope you realize that doing it that way isn't giving you an advantage of fortunes/token... you're still getting the same amount of fortunes per token that you would with just one person playing, you're just spending tokens faster that way.
